Best coffee spot on our trip to Oahu! Delicious third wave coffee. I was looking for a well pulled shot and found it here. Went back again and tried their dirty black sesame latte. Exceptional. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. And the prices were very good!Would recommend and would go back!

9Bar HNL at SALT is a gem in Kaka’ako. The coffee is excellent, and their Bacon, Cheddar, Chive “Scuffin” is a must-try. The shop itself is quiet and has limited indoor seating, but it’s perfect if you’re looking for a calm spot to enjoy your coffee, study, work, or read. If you prefer more space and want to talk with a friend, you can always grab your drink to go and take advantage of the plenty of seating around SALT.

I enjoy coming to this coffee shop every now and again, however I usually cannot find a table to sit. Its always packed with people enjoying breakfast and/or studying/working. So I usually take my things to go. Every now and again, they rotate coffee for the pour over. This time i selected the Brazilian dark roast. I enjoyed it. I also got to try their scuffin (scone and muffin). It had the everything bagel mix on top and cream cheese inside. No doubt I will grab it again. My only wish, they had a larger space. All-in-all, top 5 coffee shops that I like to visit in the honolulu area.

Small place but high quality coffee and fast friendly service. A few seats inside with outlets and public bathrooms are across from the entrance. They have some unique coffee drinks on the menu & it’s super professional. A little expensive but location & quality are the reasons for it. I recommend & I’ll be back

This little spot, located on the inside area of Our Kakaako, offers a lovely mix of local drinks with a side of delicious coffee drinks and snacks. With great espresso and several Hawaiian coffees to choose from, definitely don’t ignore the case of freshly baked pastries. There’s normally inside seating but right now the outside areas have a few tables nearby to meet up, drink or eat. Great little cafe!

Everyone here is amazing. The staff are super nice and will not only remember who you are but what you order. Kristin, Monica, and Zach always talk to me when I come in. The espresso is always perfect whether it's a normal latte or a specialty one. Sometimes they even have seasonal drinks. They had a black forest latte that was out of this world. The scuffins are also all great. My favorite is the bacon and cheese one, but the everything bagel is awesome as well. The chocolate macadamia is my favorite sweet version. Their bakers are very consistent! The giant cookies are delicious as well. This place is definitely worth walking 30m past Starbucks for infinitely better coffee and pastries.

Super 'ono big warm scones (and they do have some savory options!) that are properly light and moist with a crisp exterior, and their black sesame iced latte is so delicious- deeply nutty and not too sweet with the characteristic graininess of finely ground sesame, and I love that particular mouthfeel. Would love to try other scone flavors- today just got the cream cheese and peach!

Stopped by 9Bar HNL in the morning to hang out with a friend and really enjoyed it! I got an iced latte and a blueberry cream cheese scone. The scone wasn’t too sweet, just right, and had a nice texture. The latte was delicious and well-made, and I appreciated that they offer lots of syrup flavors and milk alternatives to customize your drink. The cashier was super friendly and kind, which made the visit even better. The ambiance was great: bright, modern, and welcoming. It was definitely busy and a bit crowded when we went, and there weren’t any seats available inside, but we managed to find a spot outside to sit and chat. Overall, such a nice local café to grab coffee, relax, and catch up with friends. I’ll definitely be back!
